If you look back on your life, how has drinking alcohol benefited you? Did you find your wife or girlfriend cause drinking made you approach and talk to them? Did drinking help you make friends that are still with you? Anything?

I'm sure almost everyone has 'made a move' on a woman off of alcohol at some point, they may not have made....some not so good either lol.

I'd prefer to look at this the opposite way. Back in college when I was a poor black kid from mississippi...a smokin' hot sorority chick who I wouldn't have a chance with otherwise gets messed up and in her eyes I suddenly become Tom Cruise...or Owen Wilson...or Lawrence Fishburn....who cares. Regardless, she wakes up in my bed in a house full of guys and has to do the walk of shame in the morning.

Of course I offered to pay for a taxi.

I found I could say things I wouldn't normally say to very large angry men thus I learned to be a better fighter.

2 beers a night has allowed me to be healthier. People who drink 2 beers per night have a tendency to live longer than people who don't drink at all.

drinking has cost me thousands of dollars, lost me a couple of jobs, wrecked a reletionship with a girlfriend and a friendship, and was a big reason why i did so bad in school......other than that, drinking has been real fun!:toast:
